Kodi media player - open sourced and brilliant way to watch movie

Kodi Media Player -

(for those who are using Kodi on old Box/those running 4.4.x n above)
Since migrating from asstro to Hypptv STB white Box provided by TM, I installed Kodi in it and Myiptv which got full channel *stro and vod at very2 low price subscriptions. That is another story, just let go on Kodi.
I need to post and share a little bit about this for my own review and most importantly, to update this blog. 😁😁😁

(email i got from ares-team)
Using Kodi On Old boxes <5
There has been a lot of misinformation circulating about the reasons to use Kodi 17, including the story about the new versions of https causing issues. Well theres some truth behind it, but not all the "sky is caving in " drama we have seen touted. YES, the Kodi 16 version will be increasingly affected by this move to the new https standard - however it will happen progressively throughout the year, so dont panic!

There is also a solution for those of you with older devices, though they must be Android 4.4.x, as a great coder over on FreakTab has forked Kodi 16 and upgraded the python (kodi program engine code) to use the new https standards. Using this means you can still access all the links as if you had 17 installed.

no wonder recently i was unable to search HD content link on Kodi

first u need to download it here
Kodi 16 Fork to Fix SSL V2 Android 4.4.x or higher (this restores HD links that you were told wouldnt work on 16 anymore !)

After installed, u need an addons to stream content which can be Movies, Tvshows, Live stream and more. Its like an apps for Kodi. To watch movie, u need these "apps" or Addons. Where to get tons of addons? U need to find a suitable build for you to deploy in Kodi. =Build is where all the addons stored. Its like a launcher for KODI.  First thing first, U need to install Ares Wizard.

Ares Wizard act like apps store where u can download builds.

To Install Ares Wizard Jarvis:
  • Open Kodi
  • Select SYSTEM > File Manager
  • Select Add Source
  • Select None
  • Type the following EXACTLY http://repo.ares-project.com/magic and select Done
  • Highlight the box underneath Enter a name for this media Source, type ares and select OK
  • Go back to your Home Screen
  • Select SYSTEM
  • Select Add-Ons
  • Select Install from zip file
  • Select ares
  • Select repository.aresproject
  • Select repository.aresproject.zip
  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification
  • Select Install from repository
  • Select Ares Project
  • Select Program add-ons
  • Select Ares Wizard
  • Select Install
The Ares Wizard is now installed and can be accessed via the PROGRAMS (or Apps) menu from your home screen
in this case. i chosed Pulse build (u can choose any build u like)

Enjoy!
